Marketing Attribution & Analytics
We use our own first-party analytics and marketing-attribution tool to understand how visitors use our store and to measure which marketing touchpoints (ads, emails, referral links) lead to subscriptions or purchases. We operate this tool ourselves on our own infrastructure. It does not use third-party advertising pixels, and we do not sell or share your data with advertising networks such as Meta, Google or TikTok.
What it collects — depending on your cookie choices and location, the tool may record: a random first-party browser identifier (a “visitor ID”); the pages and products you view, the actions you take, and when; the campaign parameters in the link you arrived from (e.g. UTM parameters or click identifiers); the website or service that referred you; your approximate country, derived from your IP address; and subscription and purchase events, including order value and currency.
We store only the path of the pages you visit (e.g. /products/example) and an allow-listed set of campaign parameters — not full web addresses, form contents, payment details, or precise location. We do not use device fingerprinting.

How your identity is linked — Before you identify yourself, your activity is linked only to the random visitor ID, not to your name or email. Because this can later be connected to you, we treat it as personal data (pseudonymous), not anonymous. If you subscribe, create an account, sign in, or make a purchase while you have allowed Marketing attribution, we may link your earlier activity to your customer record to see which marketing contributed to that action. For attribution we store your email address as a one-way encrypted (hashed) value; your ordinary email is used only for normal account and order purposes and is accessible only to authorised staff.
Your choices and legal basis
- EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland: analytics and marketing attribution are off until you accept them in our cookie banner; our legal basis is your consent.

Order records are kept as required for our accounting and legal obligations; if you ask us to erase your data, we remove the personal details from them.
Where it’s processed — This data is processed on our own infrastructure in the United States, with appropriate safeguards for international transfers (UK IDTA / EU Standard Contractual Clauses). It is not shared with advertising networks or data brokers.
